1944 Artist Hassan Massoudy was born in Najaf in the Middle Euphrates, Iraq.
1951 - 1961 He completed his primary, middle, and high school studies in Iraq.
1961 - 1968 He moved to Baghdad, worked with many calligraphers, and began visiting art galleries that interested him in studying art. Still, due to political circumstances, he was unable to study.
1969, He left Iraq and traveled to Paris to study at the National School of Fine Arts "Beaux Arts" and studied and worked on figurative art. He worked as a calligrapher for several Arabic magazines to pay for school.
1972 With the actor Guy Jacquet, he created a show called "Arabesque", and after several years, the musician Fawzy Al Aiedy joined them as well. The show combined music, poetry, and calligraphy, which is shown on a large screen behind the performers, and their performances were done for thirteen years throughout France and Europe.
1980 He participated in the Maison Pour Tous exhibition in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France.
