1961 Artist Yusra Al-Abbadi was born in the city of Diwaniyah in the Qadisiyah Governorate in Iraq.
1968 - 1978 She completed her elementary, middle and high school studies in Diwaniyah.
1980 - 1984 She studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad.
2000 She participated in the International Festival at the Hall of the Arts Center in Baghdad.
2001 She participated in the Arab Festival at the Art Center hall in Baghdad.
2002 She held a solo exhibition entitled "Ishraqat" at Dar Ofuq hall in Baghdad.
2003 - 2005 She was appointed Director of the Cultural Forum Hall.
2003 She held a solo exhibition entitled "Ishraqat 2" at the annual cultural forum in Baghdad.
2004 She participated in the Iraqi Women Festival at Al-Wasiti Hall in Baghdad.
2006 She participated in an exhibition at Madarat Hall, an exhibition "Iraqi Artists" at Akkad Hall in Baghdad, and the Iraqi Cultural Festival in Algeria.
2007 She participated in the Golden Jubilee exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2008 She participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Artists" at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad, an exhibition with four Iraqi artists at the French Cultural Center in Baghdad, and an exhibition "For the Children of Iraq" at the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad and Italy.
2009 She held a solo exhibition entitled "Obsessed with a City" at Hiwar Hall in Baghdad and participated in the Cultural Festival at Roua’a Hall in Amman.
2012 She held a solo exhibition entitled "Windows of Memory" at Dar Al-Anda in Amman, Jordan, and participated in an exhibition with four Iraqi artists at the French Cultural Center in Baghdad.
2013 She held a solo exhibition entitled "A Thousand Suns and Suns" at the French Cultural Center in Baghdad and a solo exhibition entitled "The Diwan of Childhood" at Hiwar hall in Baghdad, and participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Spaces - Joint Annual Art Exhibition" at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2015 She participated in the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association and the "Iraqi Plastic Artists" exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2016 She participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Painters" of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association and the Association of Lebanese Artists for Painting and Sculpture in Beirut, Lebanon.
2017 She participated in the exhibition "Selections of Contemporary Iraqi Art" in the Tunisian Plastic Artists Union in Tunisia, the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad, and the "Iraqi Plastic Artists" exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2018 She participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Plastic Artists" at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association and the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
2019 She participated in the exhibition "Contemporary Artists from Iraq" at Ras Al-Ain Gallery in Amman and the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
She worked as an illustrator for several Iraqi newspapers in Baghdad.
She is still lives and devoted to her art in Baghdad.
