Syrian painter and sculptor born in 1938 in Latakia, Syria
1966 Obtained a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Cairo University, Egypt
1974 Obtained a high diploma in painting and sculpture from the National School of Fine Arts (Beaux-Arts) in Paris, France.
1982 - 1991 Served as a Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University. Then served as a professor of paintings and sculpture in the same faculty.
Participated in many art exhibitions, fairs, and festivals in Syria and abroad.
