1977 Artist Kadir Fadhel was born in Baghdad, Iraq.
1984 - 1994 He completed his primary, middle and secondary school studies.
2011 - 2015 He studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a BA in Fine Arts and Calligraphy.
2015 He won the Ishtar Prize for Young Artists in Baghdad and founded with other artists the Independent Tarkib Festival for Contemporary Art in Baghdad and exhibited his works at the festival.
2016 He helped German artist Michaela Roach with her project entitled "Public Collection" in Baghdad and held a solo exhibition at Domagk 50 in Munich, Germany and a solo exhibition in Tijuana, Mexico. He participated in the Eighth Ishtar Festival for Youth in the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad, the International Contemporary Art Project for artistic exchange between Tijuana and Baghdad, and an exhibition with artists Shahd Al-Mawla and Mohammad Kamal in the Tower of Babel in Baghdad.
2017 He won a scholarship at the Cranach Foundation in Wittenberg, Germany.
