1963 Artist Waleed Al-Qaisi was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
1970 - 1980 He completed his elementary, middle and secondary school studies in Baghdad.
1980 - 1985 He studied ceramic art and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1983 He participated in an exhibition at Tahrir Gallery in Baghdad.
1986 He participated in the Baghdad International Festival of Arts in Baghdad.
1988 He participated in the Baghdad International Festival of Arts in Baghdad.
1989 He participated in the modern Iraqi art exhibition "Cypress Tree".
1991 He participated in the Modern Iraqi Art Exhibition in Amman, Jordan.
1992 He won the Modern Art Prize in Baghdad.
1993 He participated in the Modern Iraq Sculpture Exhibition in Baghdad and won the Pottery Prize from the Ministry of Culture in Baghdad.
1994 - 1996 He held solo exhibitions at Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts in Jordan.
1995 - 1997 He established and supervised the Arab Ceramics Factory in Jordan.
1996 He held a solo exhibition at the Royal Culture Center in Amman, Jordan, and participated in the International Gent Festival in Belgium.
1997 – 1999 He supervised the Orient Art Factory in Jordan.
1998 He participated in the Cairo International Ceramic Biennale in Cairo.
1999 He held a solo exhibition at Dar Al-Anda Gallery in Amman, Jordan, participated in the Cairo International Ceramic Biennale in Cairo, and participated in the "Small Pieces" exhibition at Al-Orfali Hall in Amman.
2000 He participated in the Cairo International Ceramic Biennale in Cairo.
2001 He held a solo exhibition at Sheikh Hassan Al Thani Gallery in Doha, Qatar. He participated in the Cairo International Ceramic Biennale in Cairo and the Contemporary Arab Art Exhibition in Qatar.
2002 He participated in the Cairo International Ceramic Biennale in Cairo and the First Exhibition of Flower Vases in Croatia.
2003 He participated in the International Charitable Exhibition for Ceramic Art in Croatia and the Museu Del Cantir D’Argentona Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain.
2004 He held a solo exhibition at the Diwan Al-Kufa Gallery in London in the United Kingdom, and participated in the ceramic competition entitled "Une Oeuvre De Faience " in France, and participated in the third exhibition of contemporary ceramic art in Greece, the ninth biennale of ceramics in Belgium and the third international biennale of ceramics in Belgium and exhibition for ceramics in North Carolina in the United States of America.
2005 He participated in the Art Festival with the Omma Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey, an exhibition entitled “Challenge The Nail” at the Art Salon in London in the United Kingdom, an exhibition entitled “Lilliput Ceramics”, an international exhibition of small ceramics in Croatia, and the “Triennial of Flower Vases” in Croatia.
2006 He participated in the Omma Gallery of Contemporary Art in California, an exhibition at the Elite International Tile Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art in San Dominica, and an exhibition at Agora Gallery in New York, USA.
2007 He held a solo exhibition at the Danish House in Doha, Qatar, and participated in the Teapot Championship at the University of Houston in Texas in the United States of America. He won the first prize in the International Ceramic Art Competition in Denmark.
2008 He participated in the 1st International Shanghai Biennale for the Art of Modern Pots, the Golden Coast Award for Ceramics in Australia, the Second International Ceramic Magazine Editors' Symposium in China, and the International Marratxi Ceramic Biennale in Spain.
2010 He held a solo exhibition at Youssef Al Sharif Gallery in Doha, Qatar, and participated in an exhibition at Marziart International Gallery in Hamburg, Germany.
2011 He participated in an exhibition at the Gallery of the Southwestern College of Art in California, USA.
2012 He participated in the exhibition "Black and White" in Doha, the first biennale of visual art in Casablanca, Morocco, an exhibition at Nordjylland University College in Aalborg, Denmark, and the exhibition of modern Iraqi art at the Owais Foundation in Dubai.
2013 He he held a solo exhibition at Dar Al Anda Gallery in Amman, Jordan, and participated in the exhibition "International Dialogue East and West" in Morocco.
2014 He held a solo exhibition at Kunstforeningen Det Ny Kastet in Thisted, Denmark.
2015 He participated in an exhibition at the Dar Al Funoun Gallery in Tunis, an exhibition at the Fifth International Center for Ceramic Art in Sidi Kassem Al-Jelizi in Tunis, and the second session of the Cluj International Biennale of Ceramics in Romania.
2016 He hold and Exhibition in “Matafe’e” the Artists Residence in Doha. He participated in the "International Porcelain Mural" exhibition at Spotkajmy sie in Wroclaw, Poland and an exhibition at the Haegeumgang Theme Museum in South Korea and won the international ceramic mural contest in Poland.
2017 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Untitled" at Al-Orfali Gallery in Amman.
2018 He participated in Art Productions New York exhibition in the United States of America and Contemporary Iraqi Ceramics exhibition at the Iraqi Art Association in Baghdad.
2019 He participated in Amman Design Week with the Corner Gallery in Amman, the exhibition of contemporary artists from Iraq at the Ras Al-Ain Gallery in Amman.
2019 – 2020 He participated in an exhibition "Objects of Imagination – Contemporary Arab Ceramics" in Jordan National Museum Gallery with the participation of forty Arab artists from different Arab countries in Amman.
2020 He held a solo exhibition at Ajyal Gallery in Beirut, Lebanon, and participated in an exhibition at the Guozhong Ceramic Museum of Art in Beijing, China, and an exhibition at the Lappi Theater in Rovaniemi, Finland.
He participated in many workshops, seminars and conferences around the world.
He lives and works full-time for art in Amman, Jordan.
Member of the International Academy of Ceramics in Switzerland.
