  • 1926, the artist was born in Baghdad - Iraq.
  • She practiced painting in the studio of the Faculty of Arts under the supervision of the pioneer artist Hafidh Al-Droubi since the fifties, and participated in the annual college exhibitions, and received many awards.
  • 1953 She joined the Impressionists group founded by the artist Hafidh AL-DROUBI in the studio of the Faculty of Arts at the time.
  • 1954 Graduated from the College of Arts / University of Baghdad - Sociology Branch.
  • Participated in all the exhibitions of the Impressionists group from it’s foundation until 1962.
  • She worked at the School of Music and Ballet - Ministry of Culture and Information.
  • She worked as a translator in the Artistic Documentation division in the Fine Arts Department - Ministry of Culture and Information-Baghdad.
  • She worked as a director for the two Governmental galleries, the Gulbenkian Hall, then Al-Riwaq Gallery-Baghdad.
  • Participated in most art exhibitions inside and outside Iraq during the second half of the twentieth century.
  • 1981, in December, she held her first solo exhibition (Nature is a fountain and Green Spring) at Al-Riwaq Gallery-Baghdad.
  • 1982 She held her second solo exhibition (Gardens of Water and Light) in -Baghdad.
  • 1983 Her third solo exhibition of watercolors paintings at the Meridian Hotel Hall in Baghdad.
  • 1984 She held her fourth solo exhibition (Gardens of Water and Light) at Al-Riwaq Gallery-Baghdad.
  • In April 1987, she held her fifth solo exhibition (Nature paints itself) at Al-Riwaq Gallery-Baghdad.
  • 1989 in December, she held her sixth solo exhibition (Fountains of The Rose Gardens) at Al-Riwaq Gallery-Baghdad.
  • Her seventh solo exhibition in Baghdad.
  • 2000, on October 13th, she held her eighth solo exhibition (Pause with Nature) in Al-Droubi Gallery-Baghdad.
  • Member of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association.
  • Member of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate.
  • The artist is living in the USA working from her own studio.
